vVO2max : velocity at VO2max
RunThe running speed at which you reach your maximum oxygen uptake.
VMA is the running equivalent of FTP on the bike. It is measured by an incremental test (Cooper, Vam-Eval) or estimated from a 3-6 min maximal effort. Short intervals (30/30, 1 min/1 min) are prescribed at 100-110% vVO2max to stimulate VO2max. Typically 14-22 km/h depending on level.
In TriPaced:
In TriPaced, VMA is estimated from your 3-10 min maximal run efforts imported via Strava. It calibrates the most intense run interval sessions and defines your run zones by speed.
