TSB : Training Stress Balance (freshness)

Load

Your freshness today, simply CTL − ATL.

A TSB around 0 means you're absorbing your load without over-supercompensating or staying tired. Deep negative TSB (−20 or below) flags injury or staleness risk. Strongly positive TSB (+10 to +20) is the goal during taper before a race.

In TriPaced:

TriPaced displays your live TSB. Plans automatically schedule recovery weeks (TSB rising) and race peaks (TSB target +5/+15 depending on distance).
