Long-distance triathlon glossary·ATL

ATL : Acute Training Load (fatigue)

Load

Your recent fatigue, a 7-day moving average of TSS.

ATL reacts fast: it climbs after a big week and falls after 2-3 recovery days. It's the snapshot indicator of how much fatigue you're piling on.

In TriPaced:

In TriPaced, ATL is plotted alongside CTL. When ATL stays above CTL, TSB drops far negative and the app suggests easing off.
