Resting Heart Rate : morning heart rate
LoadYour beats per minute upon waking, a key indicator of recovery and fitness.
Resting HR is measured lying down in the morning before getting up. It decreases with aerobic training (trained athletes often reach 40-55 bpm). An RHR 5-10 bpm above your baseline often signals accumulated fatigue, early illness, or poor sleep. Tracked daily, it is a reliable recovery barometer.
In TriPaced:
In TriPaced, you can enter your resting HR in Settings. It refines HR zones via the Karvonen method (HR reserve = max HR − resting HR), producing more personalised zones than simple % max HR.
