Segment split time : split
IntensityThe time achieved on each race segment (swim, T1, bike, T2, run), key for analyzing performance and identifying improvement areas.
An Ironman result is not just the total time : splits reveal where time was gained or lost. Example: a total time of 11h might hide a 1h10 swim, T1 of 8 min, bike of 5h40, T2 of 5 min, run of 4h. Results platforms (Ironman Tracker, Athlinks) publish official per-segment splits and rank you within your age group. Analyzing splits across races guides training planning: if the run consistently degrades, work on brick specificity and bike nutrition.

In TriPaced, your race splits are entered in the Race A/B sheet after the event. The projected vs. actual comparison across segments automatically identifies underperforming disciplines to guide the following season's planning.
